The Smithco Spray Star 1600 series dedicated spray vehicles are light, maneuverable and productive. Only 9 psi on the turf prevents damage to important playing areas. Easy, all hydraulic, power steering assures maneuverability for even small greens and tees. These sprayers are productive enough to spray an entire course or professionally maintained turf grass sites.

The 1600 is powered by a mechanical drive system to the rear wheels and a 20 hp (15 kw) twin-cylinder gasoline engine. The 1600 controls ground speed precisely using a hand- and foot-operated ground speed control system, meaning increased application accuracy.
