“The Star Command System saved us major time and chemistry at my last course.

So when I moved to Quail Hollow, my first purchase
was another Star Command.”

“The best purchase
I ever made!

The Star Command System saved me 30% in chemical costs.”

1. THE SMITHCO STAR COMMAND SYSTEM
starts with our 2 finest sprayers each factory-fitted with the Smithco-Capstan® SharpShooter®, the SharpShooter Electronic Control and the Raven Envizio GPS Pro®.

Spray Star 2000
The midsize/right size spray vehicle for the whole course.

Spray Star 3180
The wide-area spray vehicle with the most maneuverability and lightest touch on the turf.

2. THE STAR COMMAND SYSTEM CONTROLS THE ON/OFF SPRAYING FUNCTION RIGHT AT THE TIP. INSTANTANEOUSLY.
The Capstan® SharpShooter® and the SharpShooter Electronic Control AUTOMATICALLY allow ANY application rate from 0.4 gal per 1,000 sq ft… ANY operating speed from 2 to 10 mph… and ANY pressure necessary to control drift.  All this is done AUTOMATICALLY with no nozzle tip changes. Shutoff is instantaneous. The proper flow and pressure is always maintained when the boom is turned on.  You realize significant reductions in spraying time without compromising quality.

3. NEVER OVERSPRAY AGAIN.
With a Raven Envizio GPS Pro® display you’ll see on the monitor an “As-Applied” map of the application as it is being created by the GPS-guided sprayer’s individual nozzles.  They will automatically shut off over areas that have already been sprayed and automatically turn back on over unsprayed areas.  “As-Applied” maps can be created and named for each fairway.  The each map can later be downloaded to the office computer as a permanent record of the application.

How fast can you pay for the
SMITHCO STAR COMMAND SYSTEM?

A golf course spending $60,000 a year on chemicals saves at least 25% on chemicals alone plus a third of their spraying labor. Savings: $20,000 – $25,000 per year with better spray results!
